NEWS PEAS AND SWEETCORN FROM AUNT BESSIE’S

Aunt Bessie’s has introduced new Peas and Sweetcorn as an addition to its vegetable range.

New Peas and Sweetcorn is being launched to appeal to consumers as an accompaniment to a wide range of family meals.

Made using Aunt’s Bessie’s quick freeze so they stay fresh, new Peas and Sweetcorn are quick and easy to prepare, designed as an alternative to the traditional vegetable side dish.

Suggested serves with rice and jerk chicken, or as an addition to a casserole, the new product can be put them into boiling water from frozen and simmer for 2-3 minutes, then serve.

New Aunt Bessie’s Peas and Sweetcorn is available from now in Tesco, priced at £1.69.

Aunt Bessie’s Ltd, previously Tryton Foods Ltd, has grown to £161m retail sales value in 15 years.

The brand produces up to 20 million Yorkshire Puddings each week, with the first ever Aunt Bessie’s Yorkshire Pudding created for a Butlins holiday camp in 1974.

The launch of the new Peas and Sweetcorn vegetable pack hopes to broaden the brand’s appeal and persuade consumers to think of the brand for a wider range of meal occasions.
