GO AHEAD’S NEW ONE PORTION OF FRUIT BAKES
United Biscuits (UBUK), a manufacturer of biscuits, snacks and cakes, has announced that all new go ahead! Fruit Bakes now contain one portion of fruit per bake.
Available from the beginning of July, the golden baked bar range which includes fruit flavoured fillings, will have the added benefit of one portion of fruit whilst remaining under 131 calories.
Consumer research highlighted that the portion of fruit claim considerably increased the motivation to purchase amongst existing go ahead! Fruit Bake fans and drove interest amongst non-buyers.
Each pack of go ahead! Fruit Bakes will now feature a bold yellow flash at the top of the box stating the portion of fruit message and highlighting the ‘New’ recipe in a red shaped apple in the top left corner.
The one portion of fruit launch comes with the addition of a new cherry flavour variant, taking the go ahead! Fruit Bake range to five fruit flavours: Apple, Apple and Blackcurrant, Raspberry, Strawberry and new Cherry.
All are available in multi-boxes containing six Fruit Bakes and has an MRRP £2.85.
