WAITROSE STOCKS CHASE MARMALADE VODKA

June 17th, 2011

Waitrose has announced that it will be stocking the Herefordshire based Chase Distillery’s unique Williams apple Gin and Chase Marmalade Vodka within its top flagship stores from 27th June.

Williams Gin’s USP comes from the fact it is distilled from apples that are organically grown on William Chase’s farm in Herefordshire, they are fermented and turned into cider which is then distilled into vodka.

This vodka is then re-distilled, infusing Juniper, Coriander, Angelica, Liquorice, Orrice, Orange, Lemon, Hops, Elderflower and Bramley apple.

Williams has already enjoyed overseas success, particularly in Spain where it is served in the restaurant ‘El Celler De Can Roca’ in Gerona, as well as 3 Star Michelin star restaurants such as ‘Anzak’ in San Sebastian and in all of ‘El Corte Ingles’s premium gourmet department stores.

Chase Marmalade Vodka was recently launched as a world exclusive in World Duty Free’s Terminal five at Heathrow in May after the Chase Vodka was so well received.

It is made by marinading marmalade jam with Chase Vodka, which was voted the ‘World’s Best’ last year at the prestigious San Francisco World Spirits Competition.

The Marmalade Vodka also won a Gold medal this year at the same highly respect awards.

Chase Distillery’s founder and serial entrepreneur, William Chase said :

“We’re overwhelmed by how popular our Marmalade vodka is. We’ve had waiting lists!

“There’s a real love for it both with bartenders and consumers and we are looking forward to seeing what new cocktails can be made with it.”

With a growing reputation for high quality British provenance, Chase products are now available in top hotels, bars and retailers in Europe, USA, China, UAE and Brazil.

Chase Distillery was founded in 2008 and will be hosting a bar on the half way line at the Henley Royal Regatta this summer.
