Since Coffee Republic’s flagship new-look coffee bar opened at Tottenham Court Road in January this year, the Milan-roasted coffee connoisseurs have continued to try to drive the brand forward with the establishment of new UK and international franchises, and the launch of their new breakfast menu.

Coffee Republic has two new UK franchises scheduled to open before July in Clacton and South Woodford; the company aims to open 20 new franchise sites in the next 12 months and 20 company bars in the same time frame.

Additionally, Coffee Republic are attempting to further their international reach with franchises opening in Cyprus and South Africa – with South Africa due to open a further 14 franchises over the next five years.

These two new international markets are in addition to Coffee Republic’s current franchise presence in Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Romania, Jersey and Jordan.

This Spring, Coffee Republic are also launching their new breakfast range across the UK with a range designed to satisfy those looking for savoury, sweet and healthier options.

Additions to the menu include a range of English Muffins – such as Full English Breakfast and Cheese and Tomato; Sweet Muffins including lemon & white chocolate, low fat blueberry and reduced fat peach & raspberry; porridge with honey, blackcurrant and raspberry toppings; hot and cold milk granola; and in response to increasing market demand for healthy breakfast choices, yoghurt-based breakfast options made with 50% reduced fat yoghurt – bircher muesli, granola and natural yoghurt pots, all available in raspberry or blackcurrant.

Coffee Republic re-launched this year under new ownership and with new-look interiors by Conran & Partners and is introducing its new breakfast range to stores nationwide this month.

Tottenham Court Road is the flagship store and is one of the first new-look coffee bars which marks the company’s planned expansion into key locations across the UK and internationally this year.

Throughout this expansion Coffee Republic remains true to its signature coffee which is roasted in Milan.
