Nestle is supporting the independent trade with the launch of price market packs.

Nestle’s confectionary products now have  clear 45p price marks on their packaging across its core range of singles.

Price marked packs of Toffee Crisp, Aero Peppermint, Aero Peppermint Bubbles, Milk Kit Kat four fingers, Kit Kate Chunky and Yorkie Milk will be available.

Trade communication manager Graham Walker said:

“Price marked pack promotions are proven to drive rate of sale, which is not surprising given that 40% of convenience shoppers say they would be encouraged to buy a price-marked pack over a plain pack.”

Sale of Nestle products in non-main stream retailers often sell for higher marker prices and this is where the price markings can really help to boost sales.
