The UK is set to eat over 80 million sausages this festive season, and Debbie & Andrew’s new range of ethically-sourced sausages hopes to offer consumers a conscience free option this year.

They have introduced two new limited edition products including; Christmas Cocktail Sausages and Christmas Sausage Meat.

Debbie and Andrew Keeble, the Yorkshire farmers behind the range, have used their trademark sausage recipe of minced, lean British pork shoulder, a handful of breadcrumbs and a little seasoning, to create the two new products.

The new additions hope to reflect the couple’s passion for good quality meat and their marketing aims to emphasize the British ingredients that have put their farmers’ market recipes firmly on the map.

Christmas Cocktail Sausages (400g). These mini versions of Debbie & Andrew’s best-selling Perfect Pork sausages give a twist on the Christmas dinner favourite and also lend themselves to party food or bite-sized pigs in blankets.

Christmas sausage meat (454g). Debbie & Andrew’s fresh pork sausage meat is seasoned with leek, onion and subtle spices.

The product can be cooked whole or rolled into balls and served on the side of a meal with the turkey.

Debbie and Andrew make their sausages with pork shoulder exclusively, which makes their sausages leaner than most.

With over 20 years of pig industry experience between them, the farmers-turned-producers are passionate about sustainable British pork sourcing and work closely with a small network of British farms to source their welfare and directly traceable pork.

Their recipes lose little fat during cooking and never contain artificial colours or flavours.

In addition to the new Christmas lines, Debbie & Andrew’s makes six sausage varieties in total, including their Harrogate 97% pork sausages which are gluten-free and which were recently voted the ‘most sainted sausage in sausage land’ by top restaurant and food critic, Jay Rayner.

Debbie & Andrew’s Christmas Sausage Meat and Christmas Cocktail Sausages cost £3 per pack or £5 for two packs.

Both will be available exclusively in larger Asda stores from the end of November.
