NORFOLK WINERY EXPANDS OFFERING WITH NEW LIGHT BRITISH WINE RANGE

September 8th, 2010

New from Norfolk-based wine producer Broadland Wineries is Three Mills Reserve, an affordable range of light British wines.

Set for an initial launch through selected regional retailers and online, the range’s Rosé, White and Red wines will be available from supermarkets nationwide from October.

The new range come with an RRP of £3.99 per 75cl bottle, from 11% to 11.5% ABV.

Light varieties of wine are proving increasingly popular with female consumers who enjoy the lighter taste and more feminine appearance of the wine, while also considering it lighter in terms of calories.

David Thornhill, sales and marketing director for Broadland Wineries, commented:

“We’re pleased to add these elegant, easy-to-drink wines to our product portfolio and are confident they’ll prove popular with customers.

This mid-market range builds on the success of the Three Mills brand and reflects the growing interest in light British wines among consumers.”

Based in Cawston, Broadland Wineries has been producing quality, light British wines for over four decades.

The company’s product portfolio is made from recipes passed down through the generations using what they consider to be the best ingredients.

Combining quality, taste and affordability, all Broadland’s wines are fermented and bottled at its winery in the heart of Norfolk.
