SQUIRES KITCHEN LAUNCHES NEW RANGE OF CAKE DECORATIONS
New SK Crystallised Natural Rose and Violet flower fragments invite consumers to add a touch of “vintage glamour” to their homebaked puddings, jellies, cakes and trifles.
These little flowers have been coated in sparkling sugar and are completely edible, making them ideal decorations for violet and rose fondant centred chocolates and celebration cakes.
SK are encouraging consumers to try their new crystallised fragments by purchasing the SK Rose & Violet Cupcake Kit.
This kit contains a pot of the Rose Fragments and a pot of the Violet Fragments as well as fifty four Squires Kitchen Dotty Cupcake Cases.
The kits are being marketed as “everything you need to decorate tasty summer treats all contained in one handy kit!” and Squires Kitchen give out tips on how to best utilize the new decorations:
• Add crystallised flower fragments into a sponge cake mix to infuse the flavour during baking.
• Make violet coloured and flavoured macaroons sandwiched together with buttercream and finished with a violet on top.
• Having a romantic rose or country garden wedding theme? Bake tiny cupcakes in pink or red miniature cupcake cases, top with strawberry fondant icing and finish with a scattering of crystallised rose fragments for pretty favours your guests will love
• Crystallised flowers can be dropped in champagne to give a hint of flavour and colour.
