HAAGEN-DAZS LAUNCHES LIMITED EDITION LEMON CHEESECAKE
The UK’s luxury ice cream brand has announced the addition of Häagen-Dazs Limited Edition Lemon Cheesecake to its frozen dessert range.
Launched on the back of the success of Häagen-Dazs Strawberry Cheesecake, new Lemon Cheesecake is available from now for six months.
The launch comes after Häagen-Dazs’ consumer research showed that lemon is a popular flavour choice.
The product combines the brand’s cheesecake ice-cream with fruity lemon swirls and cookie pieces for an indulgent result.
Andy Foweather, Sales Director at brand manufacturer General Mills UK said:
“This is a treat for our consumers, but also a great sales opportunity for retailers.
Our research into limited edition flavours shows clear sales benefits for retailers, because they bring incremental shoppers to the brand; in fact, over half (58%) of our limited edition buyers had not purchase Häagen-Dazs in the sixty three week period prior to buying the new flavour.”
Häagen-Dazs Lemon Cheesecake hopes to benefit from the £3.2 million marketing support package for the total brand.
