ANNABEL KARMEL EXTENDS ITS EAT FUSSY RANGE
Annabel Karmel has added two new meals to her branded chilled ready meal range for children, Eat Fussy.
The two new meals, Veggie pasta bake with butternut squash and Fish bake with potato and butternut squash have been tested by toddlers and developed in response to customer feedback.
The recipes are devised by Annabel with children’s eating habits at the forefront of her mind. For example, butternut squash, carrot, courgette and mushrooms are blended into the tomato sauce as it notoriously difficult to get children to eat their vegetables.
This technique helps to ensure the children get the nutrients they need, making it easier and less stressful for busy mums.
These meals for children aged 1-4 years are low in salt, only contain naturally occurring sugars, and have no added colours, flavours or preservatives.
With increasing consumer demand for time-saving food, Eat Fussy is aimed at discerning parents who want the best for their children, but often have little time on their hands.
The meals are designed to be eaten as part of a varied and balanced diet, which is important for a healthy lifestyle.
The full range is now available in Ocado and Sainsbury’s and will be in Tesco from August.
With nine varieties to choose from, the kids will be provided with variation in their diet: Veggie pasta bake with butternut squash; Fish bake with potato and butternut squash; Chicken and vegetable pasta bake; Beef cottage pie; Beef lasagne; Salmon and cod fish pie; Chicken and potato pie; Tasty chicken and rice: and Bolognese pasta bake.
