YO! SUSHI LAUNCHES NEW COLLAGEN INFUSED DRINK

July 28th, 2010

YO! Sushi have launched a new collagen drink in their restaurant.

YO! Sushi, in Market Place is aiming to take futuristic dining to another level by exclusively selling what many regard as the secret to eternal youth or, as YO! Sushi are calling it,  ”a ‘beauty weapon’ that will leave you armed and dangerously attractive!”

Flown in from Japan, consumers can only purchase the drink from the Market Place branch and the drink is only available ‘while stocks last.’

This ‘collagen craze’ has been sweeping through Japan, where the beauty elixir has been added to everything: from bath gel, to yogurt, to noodles, to soup and even sweets.

The craze has even hit the US as Oprah talked about collagen on her show and about it now looks set to attract considerable attention in the UK.

So why should consumers care so much about collagen? The answer is because it is scientifically acknowledged that collagen can help benefit the body in health and beauty.

Collagen is essential for the wellbeing of our bones, skin, hair and nails – without it comes sagging skin, uneven skin tone, wrinkles and in extreme cases, arthritis.

Unfortunately the body naturally loses 1.5% of collagen every year and by the age of forty we would have lost thirty per cent.

YO! Sushi, Market Place hopes to join the collagen trend and provide a drink that can help to restore lost collagen and, as it is marketing itself ‘will really make you look beautiful!’

The drink comes as a citrusy drink with added vitamin C and B and retails at £3.50 for 50ml however, due to its ingredients containing fish collagen the product is not suitable for vegetarians or vegans.
