WALLS LAUNCHES NEW CORNETTO ENIGMA RANGE

Cornetto has launched the new Enigma range of ice creams in cones.

New for 2010, Walls have launched new Cornetto Enigma Vanilla & Chocolate and Cornetto Enigma Vanilla & Raspberry.

Each Cornetto Enigma combines soft vanilla ice cream with a core of sauce and toppings that run all the through to the chocolate flavour tip.

The Cornetto Enigma range comes in two combinations:

  • Vanilla witha chocolate and almond sauce centre
  • Vanilla with a raspberry and dark chocolate sauce centre

Walls hope that the two varieties will mean the new range will appeal to a broader audience – both chocolate lovers and fruit eaters.

IRI Value Sales Data from November 2009, showed that Cornetto is the Nation’s favourite ice cream in a cone.

The full Cornetto range will be available this year, which includes flavours such as strawberry, nut, and mint.

Available in packs of six, the new Cornetto Enigma flavours will both RRP at £1.20 for a single cone, which is comparable to the Classic, mint and strawberry flavours, which RRP at 93p for a single cone.
