US RESTAURANT OFFERS ALL-YOU-CAN-DRINK BRUNCH MENU
US restaurant Mercat has an interesting promotion to accompany its brunch offering.
Mercat’s All-You-Can-Drink Tapas Brunch is a new spin on the traditional All-You-Can-Eat menus that are popular in the US.
During their Sunday brunch serving at Mercat a la Planxa, the $25 brunch gets you four tapas as well as bottomless specialty cocktails or design-your-own Bloody Marys.
Celebrity Chef Jose Garces partnered with Sage Restaurant Group for the opening of Mercat a la Planxa. Chef Garces has been described as a leading innovator of Latin-influenced fine dining in the United States.
There are many choices on the brunch menu that include things like tortilla Española, crab omelet, shrimp ‘n’ grits with braised short ribs, and suckling pig with carrot escabèche and white bean purée.
There is also an option for non-drinkers in which customers can also opt for five tapas with no cocktails for the same price of $25.
Either way, $25 sounds like a bit of a steal, and if this All-You-Can-Drink promotion takes off like All-You-Can-Eat did, we could see it in more UK based restaurants in the future.
