PIXLEY BERRIES CORDIAL HAS SPICED UP ITS BLACKCURRANT & GINGER CORDIAL
Pixley Berries blackcurrant & ginger cordial has increased the amount of root ginger it uses by twenty per cent.
Introduced to the range in 2009, Pixley Berries Blackcurrant & Ginger, has seen its root ginger inclusion increased by over twenty per cent so as to give the cordial a more pronounced piquancy.
Additionally, Pixley Berries Blackcurrant & Raspberry, which was originally created using Scottish-grown raspberries, has recently moved to use Pixley’s own raspberries, blended in their own ‘pressoir’ with the produce of other English farmers.
Pixley Berries cordials contain more than sixty per cent fruit juices (three times higher than most cordials).
The fruit used for the cordials is not-from-concentrate and is completely free from additives and strange sounding preservatives: They are simply fruit juices, water and sugar.
As well as a drink, Pixley cordials can also be used as an ingredient in food, drizzled over ice-cream, summer puddings or as a fruity companion to summer berry dishes.
For a DIY Rosay, add half a cap full of Pixley Berries cordial to a glass of dry white wine or sparkling white wine; this creates a fresh-tasting drink with flavours more akin to those of a Cabernet Sauvignon.
All three Pixley cordials, including their Pixley Berries Blackcurrant, will be accompanied by a twenty five per cent off’ special discount promotion untill August 3rd in Waitrose stores nationwide.
The product RRP’s at £3.19 but with the promotion will sell at £2.39 per 50cl bottle.
