MIDFIELDS NEW GRANOLA USES SWEET FREEDOM AS THE ONLY SWEETNER

July 2nd, 2010

New Midfields Granola is handmade in Devon and broadens its product range to include sweeter options.

There is a wheat and a wheat free version and both are sweetened with Sweet Freedom as the only sweetener.

Sweet Freedom is a new natural sweetener, the first ever made one hundred per cent from fruit (just apples, grapes and carob and nothing else).

The product was awarded four Gold Stars at the recent Great Taste Awards and according to a write up in the Daily Mail it ‘tastes as good as sugar’.

The product has twenty five per cent fewer calories than sugar and uses around twenty five per cent less gram for gram.

It has a low GL (glycaemic load), contains no artificial colourings, flavourings or preservatives, is GM and gluten free and therefore is suitable for vegetarians, vegans and diabetics.

Sweet Freedom’s product are made in a nut free factory and can be found in the freefrom asiles in major retailers including Tesco, Waitrose and Holland & Barrett as well as many health food stores, delis and farm shops nationwide.

The new granola products made by Midfields Granola, hope to broaden the popularity of Sweet Freedom, as consumers can now purchase products that are made using the sweetener as opposed to purely being supplied with recipes they can make themselves using the product.

The two new granolas are also now available online direct from the Midfields’ website by clicking here.
