MALMESBURY SYRUPS LAUNCHES MULLING SYRUP

July 30th, 2010

A new syrup has been launched that can create mulled wine or cider in consumers homes.

The simple idea allows consumers to take an ordinary wine or cider and transform it into a mulled drink.

By adding some of this new mulling syrup (about 1-5 to 7 parts syrup to wine/cider) the original drink can be gently warmed to produce a new, mulled variety.

This new mulling syrup has taken well over a year to develop and has been tested with domestic consumers with the response being that the syrup produces an authentic flavoured mulled wine or cider.

Although it seems a bit too early for Christmas, and too hot to be considering a hot drink in this weather, the big day is only one hundred and eighty days away.

Supermarkets and other retailers will therefore already be thinking about stocking seasonal products like this in preparation for the Christmas rush.

The Malmesbury Syrups Mulling syrup will be available in two hundred and fifty milliliter bottles either as a 1 bottle box or as a 4 bottle box on-line through their website and through Amazon.co.uk.
