GOOD NATURED FRUIT LAUNCHES NEAT NEW POTATOES

July 28th, 2010

Good Natured have launched new Good Natured Neat New Potatoes to provide consumers with a new organic take on the vegetable.

The Good Natured spuds are grown in harmony with Mother Nature, using only natural predators to control pests and disease, so consumers can be assured that the whole range of soft fruit, salads, herbs and vegetables is pesticide residue free.

The produce is both good natured by process of production and good natured on shelf as all packaging is one hundred per cent biodegradable.

The potatoes come in a range of different shapes, colours and textures.

Good Natured Neat New Potatoes, with their paper-thin skin, are marketed as working particularly well boiled whole and served with British butter.

Good Natured is a brand range of fruit, salads, potatoes and herbs farmed by growers using environmentally friendly production systems

To reflect the ‘good natured’ brand philosophy the Fruit and Salads are sold in the UK’s first fully compostable punnets; Herbs are sold in fully biodegradable pots and sleeves; Potatoes are sold in biodegradable and recyclable 1.5kg paper bags with cotton string handles, all from fully sustainable sources.

Good Natured Neat New Potatoes are priced at £1.74 for 1.5kg and are available from selected ASDA stores nationwide.
