BORDER HOMEBAKE’S TRAYBAKES LAUNCH INDIVIDUAL SLICES

Border Homebake, known for their range of sweet-treat traybakes have launched a range of individually packed slices.

The range will be available for all including convenience retailers, coffee shops, delis and sandwich bars.

In addition, a new website with an online shop has been launched with traybake deliveries available throughout all of the UK.

Each traybake is cut into twelve slices with online pricing ranging from £6.10 to £7.00 plus £5.95 postage for up to forteen trays.

Border Homebakes range of traybakes include a selection of flapjacks, caramel shortcakes, honeycomb crunch, biscuit tiffin, caramel crispy, brownie and rocky road.

Each handmade slice is individually sealed using a new floorwrapper recently invested in on greaseproof card with a leading brand image and all relevant retail requirements including ingredient declarations.

All the traybakes have a shelf life of twelve to forteen weeks and can be frozen once delivered for up to 8 weeks.

Hadrian’s Wall, Northumberland’s famous World Heritage Site, provided the backdrop to the farm home of Justine Carruthers, who formed Border Homebake back in 1990.

The traybakes are now sold throughout England and Scotland to a broad spectrum of businesses that include award winning cafes, delis such as English Heritage, National Trust (RRP £1.70), O’Brien’s and Northumbria National Park.

The individual slices will RRP at 99p to £1.79. Border Homebake will be supporting their ranges with substantial media spend throughout 2010 as well as attending exhibitions across the UK.
