WILD LAUNCHES THREE NEW FLAVOURED FRUIT DRINKS

June 29th, 2010

WILD’s Garden Fruits product portfolio launches three new juice concepts based on domestic fruit flavours.

Domestically grown produce is becoming more and more popular among consumers, and as a result there has been a renaissance among fruits such as red currant, quince, plum and others that were in danger of falling from favor.

WILD now offers three different juice concepts based on domestic fruit in order to meet these rising consumer demands.

Classic types of fruit have now found their way back to the shelves as juice.

The new products are marketing themselves as an alternative to classic citrus-based beverages that are popular during the summer months.

Market developments in recent years indicate that consumers have increasing confidence in the traditional fruits they knew in their childhood, and juices made entirely of fruits that grow in local gardens are rising in popularity.

The new product range has been named the Individual Garden Fruits concept by WILD and aims to celebrate these popular fruit flavours.

The WILD portfolio includes three new flavors:

  • Apple, cherry and plum
  • Apple, red currant and rhubarb
  • Apple, apricot and quince.

This range of domestic fruits features every shade from dark purple to red and all the
way to yellow so manufacturers can create appealing options.

In order to meet rising consumer demands, the Garden Fruits range is available both as a concentrate and as 100% juice.

Neither of the new product options contain any added sugar.
