JULES & SHARPIE CONDIMENTS NOW EXCLUSIVE TO SAINSBURY’S
Sainsbury’s customers can now enjoy the chilli laced condiments from Jules & Sharpie.
The products have previously been available at fine food markets, specialist food shops and delis.
From the beginning of this month, Sainsbury’s has been stocking the two best selling condiments from the Jules & Sharpie range.
The Hot Pepper Jelly and Hot Mint Jelly are made with scotch bonnet chill peppers for their fiery yet sweet flavour, marketed
as accompaniments for both summer and winter foods.
Jules & Sharpie are Frances and Jules, two friends who turned a vision of setting up their own food business into a reality in Suffolk eight years ago.
Having moved out of Fulham in London to the countryside of Suffolk Frances, who previously worked for a fashion magazine, started the business with TV and film producer Jules.
Spending eighteen hours a day making the lines, Jules and Frances had to learn first hand how the food industry worked by jumping in at the deep end and using their own kitchens as make-shift workspaces.
Eight years on and Jules & Sharpie have moved their production line from Frances’s kitchen to a local business unit, ensuring they continue with the close homemade cooking approach that is central to the brand.
Jules & Sharpie Hot Pepper Jelly and Jules & Sharpie Hot Mint Jelly are both available in 220g jars
The Hot Pepper Jelly’s serving suggestions include being used for chicken, ribs, burgers and barbecue foods or a great addition over grilled meats.
The Hot Mint Jelly is suggested as served best with lamb cutlets or on boiled salad potatoes.
Jules & Sharpie also product Chutneys, Jams and Marmalades and Saucish in their product range.
Jules & Sharpie Hot Pepper Jelly and Hot Mint Jelly are available in selected Sainsbury’s stores both RRP at £1.99.
