BETTY CROCKER LAUNCH NEW CHOCOLATE FUDGE CUPCAKE KIT
Betty Crocker have launched a new ‘all you need’ Chocolate Fudge cupcake kit.
This new product provides consumers with a kit which contains the cupcake mix, the icing, cases and sprinkles to decorate the cakes with, all that needs to be added is eggs, milk water and oil to complete the mix for the cupcake.
The new Chocolate Fudge cupcakes take 20 minutes to prepare from start to finish and one kit makes 10 cupcakes.
The kit has been added to the UK Betty Crocker range of Muffin Mix’s, Rich and Creamy Icing, Cookie Mix’s, Cake Mix’s, Brownie Mix, Shake to Make pancake mix and a Multi-Purpose Mix.
This is a significantly smaller range than is available in the US, which also has savory ready meals and gluten free cake kits in its extensive range of food products.
Betty Crocker are marketing the kit as “the perfect half time snack which is sure to impress friends and family” to tie in with the start of the World Cup.
The kits are also designed to make it easy for younger generations to get into baking, encouraging them to get into the kitchen and make the cakes themselves as opposed to buying them pre-made. Their web-page has a facility that allows viewers to design their own cupcake, encouraging younger generations to enjoy baking while promoting their products alongside the activity on the site.
The new cupcake kit will be available to purchase in Sainsburys, Waitrose, Asda, Morrisons, Nisa and Ocado stores across the UK.
