APPLETISER LAUNCH ON PACK PROMOTION IN A BID TO BOOST SALES
This June Appletiser is featuring an on pack activity entitled ‘The Appletiser Big Apple promotion’
The 100% fruit juice soft drink, is featuring the new activity on more than two million of its 330ml cans.
Shoppers will be given the opportunity to win one of a thousand designer handbags, available via ASOS.com and three New York shopping trips with £5,000 spending money.
The promotion will run from June until the end of October, on single cans across all channels and also on six-packs in multiple retail outlets.
Shoppers can be in with a chance of winning by texting the 6-digit code on the bottom of the can to the dedicated promotion number.
Andy Thompson, Senior Brand Manager, Appletiser said:
“The New York trip and designer handbag promotion is set to boost sales of Appletiser by offering our core consumers – 25-35 year old women – the chance to win highly sought after prizes.
Retailers should ensure the cans have good visibility in store and merchandise the Appletiser range together for maximum standout in the chillier. Locating Appletiser next to complementary categories such as confectionery and crisps, which are most often purchased with soft drinks2 will further drive sales.”
The Appletiser portfolio includes Appletiser, Peartiser and two Fruitiser flavours – Pomegranate & Raspberry and Mango, Apple & Mandarin.
All four are sparkling and made with 100% fruit juice (from concentrate) with no added sugar, preservatives, or artificial colourants. Each 275ml bottle and 330ml can also count for one of the recommended five-a-day allowance of fruit and vegetables.
The promotional 330ml cans will also be available in selected wholesale outlets from June.
