OLIVES ET AL LAUNCHES EXTRA SPECIAL VIRGIN OIL

May 13th, 2010

Olives Et Al is launching its own Extra Virgin Olive Oil after requests from its customers to add an all-round, versatile and great value oil to the Olives Et Al product range.

”Our new Extra Virgin Olive Oil has been crafted from the fruit of 200 year old trees by our great friend and artisan oil producer, Fernando Sanchez Mohino y Arias at Naturvie in Extremadura.

We could go on about the aromas of green tomatoes and lemons, or the balanced fruitiness and pepperiness along with notes of banana and nuts, but we think it’s more important just to say that we’ve worked with one of the finest olive oil producers we’ve ever come across to create this great all-round extra virgin olive oil to use every day,” explained Giles Henschel, founder of Olives Et Al.

Over 5,000 olives are squeezed to create one of Olives Et Al’s new five litre tins of Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Nothing else is added, just olives grown on 200 year old trees, squeezed of their juice – simple, honest oil that has a place in every larder. Visit olivesetal.com to find out more about choosing and tasting oils.

Olives Et Al’s Extra Virgin Olive Oil is available in 500ml bottles (rrp approx £7.50) and five litre tins (rrp approx £40); both carry a design which reflects the colours of the earth, trees, olives and finally oil.

Olives Et Al’s web site is great for finding remarkable food including; hand-marinated natural olives, kiln-roasted nuts, snacks, dressings and sauces, plus interesting facts about olives and recipes to make you look very clever in the kitchen.
