MILK LINK AWARDS SUCCESS AT THE DEVON COUNTY SHOW

Milk Link, the UK’s leading dairy co-operative and largest cheese manufacturer, started its summer county show season in style today at the Devon County Show, by winning 15 awards for its cheeses.

The results included first places for Llandyrnog in the ‘Mild Cheese’ category (made in 2010), Tuxford & Tebbutt in the ‘Blue Cheese’ category and Taw Valley in the ‘Hard Pressed Cheese’ category and in the ‘Any Cheeses produced and manufactured in Devon’ category.

Milk Link received a further 11 awards with Taw Valley winning three second and two fourth places; Llandyrnog wining two third and a fourth place; Tuxford and Tebbut a second place; and Lockerbie being awarded a second and third place.
