GINSTERS LAUNCHES NEW VARIANTS
Ginsters, the UK’s leading savoury pastry brand, is launching a contemporary new addition to its slices range this summer in the form of a Meat Feast Slice. Set to be popular with Ginsters loyalists, the new savoury pastry offering boasts a delicious combination of flavours, including British smoked ham, pork and beef meatballs, chicken, pepperoni, mature cheddar cheese and a rich tomato sauce.
Available to all channels from the end of April, the Meat Feast Slice provides a tasty, easy meal solution no matter what the time of day. The distinctive flavour will resonate with consumers who particularly enjoy Ginsters’ delicious and varied recipes, whilst also encouraging the more reserved to try something a little different, driving energy and innovation into the sector.
Andy Valentine, Head of Brand Marketing for Ginsters, says:
“Savoury pastry slices have always been an extremely popular element of the Ginsters portfolio, particularly the Chicken and Mushroom and Peppered Steak variants. However, as a category leading brand, it’s important for us to continue driving growth into the category with innovative developments, such as new flavours and formats. With the contemporary flavour profile of the new Meat Feast Slice, we’re hoping to drive excitement and trial into this tried and tested format.
“Slices have been the fastest growing part of the Ginsters portfolio over the last twelve months and this new variety will help drive that growth, going forward. The versatility and flexibility of slices is what makes them popular with shoppers – they’re tasty and convenient and answer consumer demands for good quality ingredients and flavours and a properly filled product. Ginsters continues to address these demands offering a distinctive and varied range to suit all tastes.”
The West Country favourite is also giving the slices range an upgrade with improved decoration for the pastry and reinforcement of its deep fill credentials, driving a ‘home-baked’ feel into these popular, easy meal solutions.
