GINSTERS ADDS NEW WRAPS VARIANTS
The nation’s favourite savoury manufacturer, Ginsters, is introducing two new recipes into its unique wraps range this summer – BBQ Beef and Fiery Cheese. Available from the end of April, the two new SKUs will offer alternative flavour experiences, perfect for spicing up lunchtimes and ‘on the go’ snacking.
With the option of eating hot or cold, Ginsters savoury wraps give consumers both variety and versatility, as well as being a delicious and filling eat.
Andy Valentine, Head of Brand Marketing for Ginsters, says:
“Savoury wraps is an area we’re keen to develop given the continued popularity of the format and the growing consumer desire for an array of tastes beyond traditional ingredient combinations. The flexibility of being able to eat these wraps hot or cold has also proved to be a big win with our shoppers.
“The new flavour profiles we’re introducing will add a bit of ‘zing’ to the range. For example, the Fiery Cheese variant has performed particularly well in testing due to the inclusion of the modern consumer ingredient of choice – jalapenos. As such, we expect to see significant trial from shoppers, so retailers should ensure they’re highlighting the quality and strength of the ingredients in-store.”
The current Southern Style Chicken variant will also get a sprucing up this summer, with a new recipe rolling out at the end of April.
Ginsters recently launched its new national TV campaign as part of a £3.5m media investment for 2010. The ad communicates a “properly filled with quality local ingredients” message, in line with the brand’s well-established ‘Real Honest Food’ positioning. Ginsters is proud to support British farmers and to be able to say that it uses only fresh British meat in its products.
