CRAVENDALE TEAMS UP WITH THOMSON

May 31st, 2010

The UK’s number one milk brand, Cravendale, is teaming up with leading holiday company Thomson.

As part of the Buy Before you Fly campaign, Cravendale is giving away 80,000 vouchers in exclusive Thomson invoice packs, offering 50p off a 2 litre bottle of Cravendale milk.

The vouchers aim to encourage holidaymakers to buy their milk before they go on their holiday, reinforcing the marketing message that Cravendale stays fresh for up to 21 days unopened.

Louise Allen, Assistant Brand Manager for Cravendale comments:

“We know that the first thing people want when they get back home from a long flight is a good cup of tea. We are offering vouchers to 80,000 holidaymakers to ensure they can stock up on Cravendale milk before they go away safe in the knowledge that their milk will still be fresh on their return.

Due to Cravendale’s filtration process it stays fresher for longer, 7 days opened and 21 days unopened, that’s twice as long as standard fresh milk”

The vouchers will be included in the Thomson invoice packs from 16th June and will be distributed throughout the summer.

Cravendale is fresh milk, filtered to remove more of the bacteria that turns milk sour, resulting in a purer, cleaner milk that naturally stays fresher for longer.

Cravendale milk is available in whole, semi-skimmed and skimmed varieties in 2 litre bottles and 1-litre cartons.
500ml cartons are also available in whole and semi-skimmed varieties.

Cravendaleis stocked in supermarkets nationwide, at a RRP of: £1.69 for 2 litres, £1.06 for 1 litre and 55p for 500ml.
