ARTISAN FOOD MAGAZINE LAUNCHED FOR CUMBRIA
Artisan Food has described in-store bakeries “just loaf tanning salons” – and suggested there’s great alternatives in Cumbria, the Lake District.
Real Bread is the lead article in Cumbria’s new on-line local foodie magazine, launched recently.
Hot off the virtual press, Cumbria’s artisan-food scene is now available as an on-line e-magazine, including some great videos, like the morning shift at Kendal’s top Artisan Baker, along with other taste bud tingling clips.
The magazine can be accessed via the link below.

The publishers say “We have some great contributors to the magazine, notably Annette Gibbons OBE, one of Cumbria’s well know local foodies. Peter Sidwell, who runs the Good Taste Cafe in Keswick and who has just been signed up for his own TV series.
As well as Caroline Watson from Yew Tree Farm, one of our favourite local producers, rearing Herdwick and Belted Galloway from her iconic farm near Coniston. This month Caroline explains what Spring Lamb really is!
We are encouraging businesses who are interested in real food to link to the magazine on their websites and help spread the word via social networking tool ssuch as twitter, facebook etc.
