VILLA DRINKS LAUNCHES CHILDREN’S DRINKS

They are hugely popular with even the youngest kids, who recognise and respond to their jungle favourites and find the round shaped bottles with nipped in waists instantly appealing, user-friendly, easy to drink from and comforting to hold”.

Sean Willmore, Marketing Manager of Villa Drinks Ltd:

“We set out to create a healthy alternative to high sugar content fizzy drinks for kids. We wanted a range of drinks that had a nutrition panel that would stand up to the scrutiny of the most discerning mums (Wild Waters have no added sugar, they have natural flavourings, added vitamins A,B & C and are made with Hadrian Spring water, which is high in natural calcium) and a packaging presentation that would really speak to kids.

“We have been astonished at how well received these drinks have been. Our Wild Water displays at the recent shows we have attended act like a magnet to youngsters and parents, and adults instantly understand and approve of the offering as a suitable choice for their children.

Our experience so far is that a wide range of young kids are “wow’ed” by the Wild Waters offering not least because they can choose from a range and collect all three, and that parents are impressed with the ingredients, the presentation and user-friendliness of the packaging, which encourages their offspring to “drink healthily”. We think we have found a potentially very significant market niche.”

Wild Waters in unbreakable 270ml sleeved bottles with pull up-push down sports spout are available in three ever-popular flavours: Blackcurrant, Orange and Strawberry and have a 12 month shelf life.

Wild Waters was originally launched in 2004. With the company under new ownership (since February 2009) the brand is now benefitting from a major sales effort which is boosting sales exponentially.
