HANDMADE JELLIES LAUNCHED
Following years in development, Surrey based business, Just So… have launched their range of delicious jellies.
The brain child of husband and wife team, Jon and Paula Briscoe, the new range of Just So… jellies are set to be launched in March 2010.
The range includes Rosemary, Dill, Cinnamon, Lavender, Thyme and Chilli, each handmade at their Surrey base.
Commenting, Paula said: “The range is a result of years of hard work experimenting with different ingredients, to get just the right taste and texture across the range. Initially they were created to accompany dishes at our pubs, but soon customers were asking where they could buy them from. Perhaps initially, whilst we knew they were good, we decided to put them in jars so that the service team didn’t keep having to say no to our customers.
Then we rolled them out to our deli shop at The Jolly Farmers near Reigate and they flew off the shelves. Now we have a range of 16 jellies that we expect to sell well in farm shops, deli’s and perhaps high-end national outlets. It’s also our hope that owners of pubs and restaurants will embrace the new range and use them as way of enhancing their offering.”
Jon added: “Each Jelly has a perfect partner, it’s just a casing of choosing what that is, my particular favourite and one that has proved extremely popular in the pub, is the ginger jelly served with smoked salmon.”
