WARBURTON’S LAUNCHES SNACK RANGE

Warburton's SnacksWarburton’s the bakers have launched a range of wheat based snacks.

The products, called ChippidyDooDaa Pitta Chips and SnackaDoodle wholegrain snacks were launched today.

The products have their own flag brand but will also have a Warburton’s endorsement branding.

It is reported that the company is spending over £1m on digital, trade in-store and outdoor media.

New Business Director Jason Uttley is reported to have said

“Although we remain committed to growing the core bakery market, moving into the snacking category is a really exciting step for Warburtons.

“We are confident that our products will appeal to a wide range of consumers looking for innovative, great tasting snacks that also contain less fat than standard potato crisps currently available”.

ChippidyDooDaas chips which are based on Pitta Bread.  They come in two sizes and four flavours.

SnackaDoodles are wholegrain fibre-rich snacks in single portion packs with two flavours.
