A brand new service supporting our local independent food shops has just launched. Hubbub Deliveries is the first service to offer local deliveries from independent food shops and provides a real alternative to supermarket shopping for people who are too busy to get to their local shops themselves during the week.

Customers order online at www.hubbubdeliveries.co.uk from their local greengrocer, fishermen, butcher, baker and many more, and Hubbub delivers everything in one go, at the customer’s convenience.

Peggy Czyzak Dannenbaum, founder of La Fornaia, the bakery that introduced ciabatta to England, and co-founder director of Le Pain Quotidien, said:

“Hubbub is a brilliant service: we all want to support small, high quality food businesses but it is often difficult when time is limited and one stop shopping is so convenient. Hubbub overcomes these practical difficulties and makes it possible for us to eat well, support dedicated, high quality specialist food shops, and have everything delivered at a time that is convenient. Hurrah!”

Marisa Leaf, founder of Hubbub Deliveries, said:

“The best independent shops are run by highly skilled specialists who are incredibly passionate about what they do. They have direct relationships with the small suppliers and artisan producers who supply them, ensuring greater quality, choice and control over the food we buy.”

Hubbub is a brand new service that offers deliveries from outstanding local independent shops. Customers order online from their local greengrocer, fishmonger, butcher, baker etc and Hubbub delivers everything in one go, at the customer’s convenience. Hubbub was founded by Marisa Leaf, an Islington resident and former public law barrister, who was motivated by her passion for good quality, sustainable food and her commitment to making her community a better one.

Hubbub currently offers deliveries to most of Highbury, Islington, Finsbury Park, Stoke Newington, Tufnell Park and Kentish Town and will eventually offer its service in many more areas across London and the rest of the UK.

Visit the website at www.hubbubdeliveries.co.uk and use postcode N5 1QJ to access the site if your own postcode is outside Hubbub’s current delivery areas.
