MAGIMIX LAUNCHES CLEAR WALL TOASTER
If you define innovation as creativity with a purpose, this product ticks the box. How many times have you burnt the toast because you’ve popped the handle down again. Or nearly got electrocuted pulling the crinkled crispy delicious breakfast-slice out of the toaster.
Magimix, which originally revolutionised home cooking when 40 years ago it launched its much-imitated food chopper, has launched a glass walled “Vision Toaster”.
It really does have clear walled glass sides, and they are double glazed too, so that they don’t create a danger.
The company says it spent 15 years researching and developing this product, which seems like a long time, and they might need to look at their innovation process a bit, but nonetheless the result is a winner.
It carries a premium price label, and at the moment won’t appeal to all because of that, but I imagine it would make a really special gift on mother’s day, father’s day, cupcake day or whatever day they dream up next.
If you like toast for breakfast, or muffins or buns come to that, this one’s worth a look.
We’re told the Magimix Vision Toaster has these features:
Visual control: for toast – just the way you like it!
Double insulated glass windows open for easy cleaning
Long life high quality replaceable quartz elements deliver constant heat for accurate toasting
Extra wide slot with automatic self centering for tasing most types of bread, buns and teacakes
Accurate timing control for simple, fast and even browning
Extra lift lever for safe removal of smaller pieces of bread
1 button = 1 function – select from defrost, bagel, reheat and stop functions
Slide out crumb tray
1450 watts
3 year guarantee with Gold Seal Home Collection Service
RRP: £160.00
The Vision Toaster will be available in shops in the UK and ROI from January 2010.
