HEINZ RE-PACKAGES ITS FLAVOURED BEANS

Sweet Chilli BeansBeans market leader Heinz is unveiling a fresh new look for its flavoured beans range. The range will be more aligned with the look and feel of the iconic Heinz Beanz range and give consumers helpful hints and tips to make mealtimes more exciting.

The new packaging takes the existing Heinz Mean Beanz range of flavoured products: Sweet Chilli, Mexican and Smokey BBQ and places them in the classic Heinz Beanz turquoise pack colour.

“We know that consumers want to make their meals more interesting but are struggling to find a quick way of making their meals enjoyable, but different, everyday,” said Lucy Cawkwell, Heinz Beanz, brand manager. “With its fresh new look, that brings the range more in line with iconic Heinz Beanz, Heinz’s flavoured beans are just the answer as it will be easy to find on shelf and will give beans fans the confidence to try something new, while sticking with a brand they know and trust.”

Heinz has dedicated the back of each label to quick and easy to prepare snacks and meals for consumers, under the heading ‘making meal times exciting’.

“We are confident that the re-packaging will create a greater stand-out on shelf, attracting new and existing customers to buy across the range,” says Lucy Cawkwell. “Heinz is committed to listening to consumers and investing in its portfolio of market leading brands so that they are relevant, exciting and offer real sales opportunities for our retail partners. The refreshing new look for Heinz’s flavoured beans range is further evidence of this commitment.”

Heinz is the largest player in the flavoured beans market which is now worth £3.5 million [1] and during a 12 week period the market is showing double digit growth on a volume and value basis [2]. Within this market Heinz also offers 200g cans of Heinz Curry and Heinz BBQ Beanz.
