CLARKSON AND COLE TOP DREAM DINNER GUESTS CHART
Research revealed today by Table Table pub restaurants has shown that Top Gear’s Jeremy Clarkson and Singer/TV Judge Cheryl Cole are Britain’s most desirable celebrity dinner party guests.
Over 2000 Brits were asked who you would most like and least like to spend an evening eating with.
Jamie Oliver topped the list of celebrity chefs that people wanted to dine with. However there was a split between the genders on this category with more male votes going to the potty-mouthed Gordon Ramsay while the majority of the female votes went to The Naked Chef.
The survey revealed that the ultimate fantasy dinner party setup would be:
• Jeremy Clarkson (Top male celeb)
• Cheryl Cole (Top female celeb)
• Barack Obama (Top iconic male)
• Princess Diana (Top iconic female)
• Jamie Oliver (Top celebrity chef)
Table Table spokesperson Sarah Simpson comments: “We are experts in providing delicious pub food in great surroundings but we wanted to know what other ingredients would make a night out at Table Table even more special. We’ve been amazed to see who has come top of the UK’s fantasy dinner party list.”
On the flip side the research has also revealed the public figure that Brits would least like to have dinner with is Katie Price (aka Jordan) who beat Kerry Katona and Amy Winehouse in the poll for the worst dinner guest. Jordan led the votes for worst guest with 26 per cent of all respondents voting for her.
The research also shows that good conversation is the key to a successful dinner party, with humour and intelligence being voted the most important characteristics in a choice of celebrity dinner guest. Politics was voted the worst discussion topic with a quarter of the votes, even worse than death and religion which received 18 per cent and 16 per cent of the votes respectively.
The complete formula for the most disastrous dinner party was revealed as Katie Price + Kerry Katona + Amy Winehouse + talking about politics = Disaster!
