TRACKLEMENTS COMPANY CELEBRATES 40TH ANNIVERSARY WITH LIMITED EDITION MUSTARD

December 30th, 2009

TracklementsThe Limited Edition Original Mustard is an exact replica of the first wholegrain mustard produced in the UK forty years ago by Tracklements. The mustard is made to the same recipe as that used in the 1970s when Tracklements started making mustards in the small Wiltshire village of Urchfont.

The very first company to introduce Britain to the delights of Wholegrain Mustard, the team at Tracklements still use the same traditional handmade process to make their mustards today.

The recipe uses a larger percentage of brown over yellow mustard seeds, which are ground with whole birdseye chillies, allspice and black peppercorns to give the mustard a distinctive peppery taste with an enticingly warm heat.

Tracklements have also introduced a new exclusive Limited Edition Original Mustard gift set which includes a jar of the Original Mustard along with a hand thrown delicately crafted ceramic pot, designed and handcrafted by the potter, Nick Membury (www.kitchen-pottery.co.uk) – which is marketed as “the perfect gift for any mustard maniac.”

Tracklements says its Original Mustard adds a depth of flavour as well as a kick of chilli to any number of dishes.

Tracklements Limited Edition Original Mustard is available nationwide in speciality delicatessens, butchers and farm shops as well as online at www.tracklements.co.uk

A 140g jar of Limited Edition Original Mustard is £1.95. The Tracklements Original Limited Edition Mustard gift set, including a handmade ceramic pot retails for £19.95.
