Scan Foods, one of Sweden’s most famous food brands is with the relaunching one of its new product packaging as well as the launch of the new  mini and deli meatball ranges.

The company points out the product us made from ethically reared meat, with no artificial colours or flavours, Scan Foods has been making its Swedish meatballs same way since the 1950’s!

They are pre-cooked, so perfect added to stews, salads, pasta and pizza or on their own as a tasty snack. The current meatball range includes: Original (chicken, pork and beef) available in 350g and 1kg packs and Organic meatballs (pork and beef) available in 300g packs.

Scan Foods is now launching three mini flavoured varieties (pork) in re sealable 200g packs including:

·        Mini Meatballs with Mild Chilli

·        Mini Meatballs with Cheese

·        Mini Meatballs with Sun-Dried Tomato

·        They are also launching their “Deli Meatballs” in a 300g pack (beef and pork)

We are told that Scan Foods prides itself on using good quality cuts of real meat in all its products by ensuring that they rear their animals in the most ethical way possible. Their commitment to  avoiding the use of growth hormones and unnecessary antibiotics, and minimising animal stress and cramped living conditions means that their animal husbandry standards are much higher than those of the EU and even Swedish standard regulations.
