Thanks for that...had so much fun, 'am having a lot of fun, with the book. Hope the Marmite-fans (even the haters) are, as well! Maggie Hall.

I happen to like breakfast bars myself Maggie, though if they were truly breakfast they would have to be a good size bigger for me!

Anyway, just thought I would add a link to your book so that anyone interested in it can go and check it out.

Find <a href="http://www.amazon.co.uk/Mish-mash-Dictionary-Marmite-Tar-jar/dp/0956368603" rel="nofollow">The Mish-Mash Dictionary of Marmite: an anecdotal A-Z of ‘Tar-in-a-Jar’</a> at Amazon.co.uk

I can report that the verdict on the breakfast bars is the same as on the stuff itself! Pretty evenly divided into love and hate. The reason I know this is because I have been serving them at the book signings I have done - on both sides of the Atlantic - in connection with my just published book: The Mish-Mash Dictionary of Marmite: an anecdotal A-Z of 'Tar-in-a-Jar'. People have been wolfing them down - or leaving them after the merest first bite. They did warrant an entry in the book (before they were available) on the basis they made a good mighty-M joke. It went something on the lines of how disappointed people were to realise that when they heard about the Marmite Breakfast Bar it turned out to be something to eat - rather than eat in!
