INNIS & GUNN IPA LAUNCHED AS PART OF NEW GIFT BOX

The speciality beer company, Innis & Gunn, has announced the latest addition to its award-winning oak-aged beers, the India Pale Ale (IPA). Available as part of a standout tri-pack also containing the Innis & Gunn Original and Rum Cask variants and a branded tulip glass, the new expression is available to Sainsbury’s customers, costing £8.
Already the UK’s leading speciality beer in the off-trade, the Innis & Gunn gift box has been especially designed for the Christmas market. With no handles and a simple shape, the easy-to-wrap offering is sure to appeal to male and female present-givers, as well as those looking to try an extended Innis & Gunn range.
Commenting on the new release, Dougal Sharp, Innis & Gunn Managing Director, said: “The Innis & Gunn take-home market is a key strength of the brand and our already loyal drinkers are sure to appreciate this latest addition to the range. It has taken us some time to perfect the flavours due to the complexity of our oak aging technique, but we now have a superb result. By combining the IPA in this tri-pack for Christmas, many more people will appreciate the extraordinary taste range delivered by our processes.”
The new Innis & Gunn IPA (7.7% ABV), matured for 55 days, is rich with spice, herbal hops, and malt intensity, with subtle vanilla and citrus notes on the finish. The Rum Cask Finish (7.4%ABV) is characterised by soft fruits and light spice finishing in a mellow sweetness, while the Innis & Gunn Original Oak-Aged Beer (6.6%ABV) has distinctive warm and moreish vanilla, caramel and citrus flavours.
Founded in 2003, Innis & Gunn is Scotland’s largest independent beer company. Pioneers of the oak-aging process, the company’s award-winning range of brands is now available in seven countries around the world, and is the number 1 bottled British beer in Canada and number 2 imported ale in Sweden.
