LONDON RUM FESTIVAL 24TH AND 25TH OCTOBER
We are told that Innis & Gunn Oak Aged Beer Company from Edinburgh will be rubbing shoulders with some of the world’s best blenders, distillers and mixologists when Innis & Gunn take a stand at the third UK Rum Fest, taking place in the Royal Horticultural Halls on 24th and 25th October 2009.
This is the first Rum Fest for Innis & Gunn. The headlining act will be Innis & Gunn Rum Cask, 7.4%abv, which has been recently released as a permanent addition to the Innis & Gunn range. Innis & Gunn Rum Cask beer was first created in 2007 as a Limited Edition, only available in small numbers in the UK and Canadian markets, but popularity and demand has seen bottling increased to allow consumers to enjoy this fantastic brew all year round.
Like the Rum Fest, Innis & Gunn Rum Cask is a celebration of all thing sweet, spicy, full of energy and packed with flavour. A slow maturation using bourbon-oak and rum infused oak has imparted this beer with a delicious warming character that is bursting with fruit and lively spiciness.
