TEFAL INTRODUCES WIKOOK – AND REVOLUTIONISES PRESSURE COOKING
Tefal have an ambition to revolutionise the way we cook as they launch the new and innovative WiKook – the first ever fast cooker that cooks food up to 25% faster than any other traditional cooking pot.
Tefal have brought the pressure cooker up to date. This IS a pressure cooker but it works differently. The pressure is nothing like as high as the post war pots which sometimes exploded and sent soup over the kitchen wall.
In this new version, the lid is easy to clamp on, and the pressure is lower, and cooks are even encouraged to open it and see what’s going on, and add more ingredients.
We tried it in our test kitchen and the results were good. Our tester liked the way it cooked, and the panel liked the results.
We are told it also uses 25% less energy than a traditional pot, therefore saving you money on your annual gas bills.
Tefal’s says the WiKook fast cooker is the new ‘must-have’ kitchen product for busy mums and professionals that don’t want to compromise on taste, and want a healthy meal in a short space of time. There is no need for a Chef’s kitchen with hard to find ingredients: just a few essentials stocked in a small cupboard and you’ll never be caught off-guard. The Tefal WiKook fast cooker fuses speed and ease in all aspects of cooking so it is a fast cooker by name and by nature.
With its thick aluminium base, the Tefal Wikook fast cooker guarantees even heat distribution and evenly cooked ingredients. It is suitable for all types of hobs, including induction. The Tefal inner and outer non-stick coating ensures easy cleaning: so faster to cook and faster to clean!
The Tefal WiKook fast cooker will be available from Lakeland in July and priced at RRP £100. It comes with a recipe book.
