NATIONAL CUPCAKE WEEK STARTS TODAY
Today is the kick off of national cupcake week. How lovely is that?
British Baker is galvanising the nation and its bakers to vie for the best cupcake in the country. Also involved are indpendent bakers and cafes, and Marks & Spencer and Waitrose are behind this week with promotional support.
There is also a windows display competition for cafes and bakeries.
Also during the week, the winners of the cupcake-off will be media stars for every day of this coming week.
British Baker magazine exhorts us to throw ourselves into a cupcake orgyfest for at lease this one special cupcake week of the year.
British Baker’s inaugural Cupcake-off competition to find the best cupcakes in the UK is also reaping rewards for the winning cupcake makers – each of whom will represent one day of National Cupcake Week – with media appearances arranged throughout the week.
Persuade your customers to put the diet on hold and get involved by buying at least one cupcake during the week. Or even better, one every day. Don’t worry, it’s National Cupcake Week – it’s allowed!
