DIPNATION LAUNCHES CHUNKY DIPS

Set up by a family firm, DipNation has launched a range of high quality chunky dips. It is made with a base of cashew nuts and  parmesan shavings infused with a range of high quality ingredients.

The range includes: Spinach & Feta, Sweet Thai Chilli, Sun Dried Tomato, Roasted Butternut & Sweet Chilli, and Roasted Red Pepper. They can be consumed as a pre-dinner snack, a unique antipasto offering or just smothered on a cracker/oatcake/corn chip/crusty fresh bread or pita. They are currently the only dips in the UK market with bite-sized, chunky ingredients.

The inspiration for these dips came from New Zealand, the childhood home of Jeremy Williams, a founding partner. Jeremy and Juliet Williams are a husband and wife team who became increasingly impressed over a series of visits with the range of dips in the Southern Hemisphere.

On a recent trip they decided to fill a gap in the UK market….DipNation was conceived. Juliet’s brother, chef Patrick Gilmour, came on board and developed tantalising, fresh and flavoursome recipes to tempt the hors d’oeuvres UK market. “Staying in is the new going out, certainly in this economic climate and gourmet dips are the biggest growth sector in New Zealand.

Evidence suggests there is also strong performance in the UK market which mirrors an evolution in consumer eating” states Jeremy. “People want to move away from heavy meals to eating lighter meals, sharing mezzas and tapas style dishes…we saw a niche and hope to fill it”.

All these chunky dips are produced in small batches ensuring consistency and quality across the range. Each 135 gram tub packs a punch with freshness and flavour.

Central to DipNations ethos is customer satisfaction that is why only the finest ingredients are used. These are cooked simply yet imaginatively, full of natural goodness and contain no flavourings or colourings. DipNation also aims to guide the consumer on how to enhance meals and build recipes using their products in order to grow the brand in the long term.
