WAITROSE LAUNCHES RAFT OF PRODUCTS FOR AUGUST

Here is the raft of products Waitrose is featuring for August.

Mediterranean Barbecue
The holiday season is now in full swing, but you don’t have to go abroad to get that holiday feeling. The Waitrose barbecue range is packed full of flavoursome meats to sizzle over hot coals. The packs also come complete with indoor cooking instructions, in case our lovely British weather is less than tropical!

Chorizo Style Sausages Whorls (£3.49/400g)
Spiced with smoked red peppers, paprika and cayenne pepper these are delicious with crisp potato wedges spiked with paprika.

Tomato and Coriander Lamb Kebabs (£4.99/450g)
Lamb shoulder is one of the tastiest cuts, so we’ve marinated tender chunks in tomato, coriander and cayenne pepper. They come with a tomato and coriander drizzle for basting.

Sweet and Smoky Beef Shish Kebabs (£2.99/320g)
These tasty kebabs are seasoned with smoked mesquite blended with chilli garlic and pimento, and sweetened with Demerara sugar. The sweet flavours partner perfectly with red onions roasted with teriyaki sauce.

Provencal herb and SunBlush® Tomato Spatchcock Chicken (£5.99/390g)
A succulent boneless double chicken breast with a topping of herb and SunBlush® tomato.

Deli Flavours
On a lazy summer day, there’s no nicer lunch than few slices of cold meat teamed with cheese, pickles, salads and fresh crusty bread. These new deli counter meats are just delicious- and they’ll taste even better when eaten outside.

British Free Range Hand Carved Orange Marmalade Roast Ham (£2.19/100g)
Moist and tender with tangy citrus notes, this ham is covered in whole orange slices and cured for five days before cooking. It’s then hand-glazed with vintage marmalade and roasted until golden brown.

British Sliced Aberdeen Angus Sired Rare Roast Beef (£2.59/100g)
Because it is naturally marbled with fat that melts during cooking, the beef is exceptionally tender and full of flavour. Team with wasabi and watercress for a peppery kick.

Free Range Roasted Lincolnshire Turkey Breast (£2.49/100g)
Perfect for sandwiches and salads, this turkey is succulent and flavoursome. Made from the meat of turkeys reared in small flocks at selected farms in the beautiful Lincolnshire Wolds.

British Sliced Pork (£1.49/100g)
Cooked with bay leaves and thyme, and then roasted until golden brown, this pork is beautifully tender with subtle, herby notes.

Perfect for those green-fingered foodies who like to heat up home-cooked dishes, Waitrose are now stocking Chilli Plants at £3.99. Red or green? The decision is yours!
