THORNTONS LAUNCHES METROPOLITAN CHOCOLATES
Thorntons is launching a new box of single origin chocolates called Metropolitan.
The manufactures describe this as “culinary couture meeting cocoa chic” and tell us that the selection has been crafted and designed by Master Chocolatier Keith Hurdman.
They go on to say that inspired by chocolatiers from cities of the world, the dark Dominican Republic and milk Ecuador single origin chocolates are combined with delicious flavours such as salted caramel, orange blossom, quince and cloudberry to create this chic new box.
These chocs are available in Thorntons stores from early November, Metropolitan hits the shelves just in time for the pre-Christmas dinner party season or early Christmas shopping.
Highlights include the Midnight Melt chocolate made of intensely dark Dominican Republic chocolate with fruity undertones, which just melts in the mouth, and the Praline Piazza – a light, crisp praline wand, packed full of crunchy feuillietine pieces contrasting with a velvety roasted hazelnut praline.
Metropolitan boxes will be available for you to enjoy in two sizes:, 19 chocolates (191g) RRP £5.99, and 37 chocolates (373g) RRP £10.99.
