JACK DANIELS LAUNCHES NEW COLA MIX

August 11th, 2009

Brown-Forman, the manufacturer or Jack Daniel’s Sprits has launched a canned version of Jack Daniel’s & Cola.

As reported in Marketing Week Brown-Forman’s research shows that 40% of the drink is consumed with Cola and therefore the new product is the “perfect mix”. The can graphics are said to include elements of the Jack Daniel’s number 7 design and Coca Cola’s red and white livery.

Susie Modhawadia, Jack Daniel’s brand manager, says the product is designed to be shared “with friends much like a typical beer occasion” and is ideal for “for BBQ’s and festivals”.

It is reported that Jack Daniels frequently brands UK music events in its marketing strategy.  This began in 2002 and focuses on emerging artists and bands.
