DALEPACK LAUNCHES NEW CRISPBAKE

August 19th, 2009

Described as a tasty twist on a family favourite, Dalepak has put a new spin on the ultimate comfort food to give us the nation’s first Baked Bean and Sausage Crispbake, available September from freezers in Asda stores nationwide.

The new Crispbake, with sliced pork sausages, potatoes and baked beans in a light tomato sauce, is coated in seasoned breadcrumbs and costs £1 for a pack of four.

The product is targeted at families, couples and anyone looking for a tasty meal in minutes.

It takes 20-25 minutes in the oven to reheat and can be cooked from frozen.

The makers say “Eat on its own for a hearty snack or simply add vegetables to provide a great value family meal”.

The new product joins established variants which include corned beef and onion, cottage pie and minted lamb.

Established in 1976, Dalepak positions itself as “quality frozen food at reasonable prices.”

Based in Northallerton, North Yorkshire, Dalepak produces a large range of grills, ribsteaks, and burgers as well as meat free products.

Dalepak employs over 160 local people and is proud of its British heritage, sourcing the best ingredients for products whilst manufacturing and packaging at its base in Yorkshire.
