The Chablis Wine Board Will Be Holding Three Introductory Training Seminars In London On The 22nd July 2009 At The Haymarket Hotel
Chablis spokesperson, Arnaud Valour, will be taking attendees through the fundamentals of Chablis wines from Petit Chablis to Grand Cru and by combining theoretical knowledge and guided tastings, attendees will have an exclusive opportunity to experience the richness and diversity of Chablis wines. Participants will also take part in a commented tasting of eight different Chablis wines to learn more about the different appellation levels.
Chablis wines are well known in the UK (the UK is Chablis’ largest export market), and the BIVB is looking to help British journalists further develop their knowledge of these unique wines in order for them to pass on this knowledge to their readers. The seminar will also touch on the sales of Chablis in 2008, how Chablis has been affected by the economic downturn and what the future holds for this unique terroir.

o 1er Cru 2007
o Grand Cru 2006
o 1er Cru 2005 or 2001
