NEW ORGANIC SOUP RANGE
fresh! naturally organic, the UK’s largest maker of organic sandwiches has added another string to its bow with the launch of a range of chilled organic soups to compliment their core range of award winning sandwiches, salads, pies and quiches.
The new soups, designed as a high quality, everyday eating product offer a healthy and flavoursome alternative to soups high in fat and low in flavour. Each pot puts consumers well on their way to the government’s recommended five fruit or vegetables a-day and the whole range is under 4% fat and either vegetarian or vegan.
The launch range of soups is available in three varieties:
Peas on Earth – pea, leek and mint
You say Tomato, I say Tomato – chunky roasted tomato and basil pesto
Carrot King – Moroccan spiced carrot, with chick peas and fresh coriander
Each pot is 600g, providing two 300g servings and is supplied chilled, ready to heat, in a microwavable pot (the soup can also be transferred and heated on a stove).
Made by hand in small batches, the soups are presented as the ideal way to ‘soup’ up your diet with healthy vegetables, but still benefit from great flavours and the benefits of eating organic.
In keeping with fresh! naturally organic’s eco-credentials, the packaging is fully recyclable. The packaging is in keeping with the trademark fresh! green and incorporates an eye-catching, brightly coloured daisy design and the “fresh! skyline”.
The fresh! naturally organic range will be available nationally through Marigold Health Foods distribution, and in independent retailers.
