FLAVOURED SMIRNOFF VODKAS GO NATIONAL IN ON TRADE

Thepublican.com tells us that following 12 month trial in Bristol, the roll-out of Flavoured Smirnoff Vodkas will supported by a £4m ad campaign covering national radio, outdoor advertising and below-the-line.

The Diageo products, Lime Smirnoff and Green Apple Smirnoff, which have been on trial in outlets in Bristol are to be available in the on-trade nationally.

The point of sale material will feature the suggested long mixed serve of Lime Smirnoff and cola and Green Apple Smirnoff and lemonade.

“Lime Smirnoff and Green Apple Smirnoff provide licensees with a great option to differentiate their vodka selection and appeal to consumers looking to add more variety to their current drinks repertoire.” said Steve Hamilton, innovation commercialisation director at Diageo.
